Number and Operations refers to the continuing development of the mathematical skills of reading and writing numbers and adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing different types of numbers; these include whole numbers, decimals, fractions, integers, and irrational numbers. We also explore real-world mathematical concepts such as area, perimeter, and volume.
Algebra and Algebraic Thinking at the intermediate level refer to mathematics skills related to seeing more complicated number patterns, developing multiplication and division skills, and understanding the order of operations.
The domain of Measurement and Data builds on a wide range of mathematics skills related to collecting, organizing, and interpreting numerical information, from telling time or using a ruler to measure the length of an object to using formulas to find volume or surface area. It also includes understanding tables and graphs.
Geometry develops various skills related to analyzing two- and three-dimensional shapes. These include naming and classifying various quadrilaterals.

This includes being able to order teacher-assigned lessons that support the concepts or standards your child is currently learning at school.
Simply, request information from your child's teacher about what they are teaching in class, and we will provide a series of lessons to complement their classroom learning that your child can complete at home, in their own time.
